Hobby support
We are developing a new hobby support program at the Helsinki Dance Institute to make dance classes accessible to more children and young people, regardless of their family’s financial situation.
Support can be granted to children and young people under the age of 18. Our goal is to secure ongoing funding for those in need (from companies, organizations, or private individuals).
Support has been granted for the autumn semester of 2026 to a total of 15 students.
At the moment we cannot accept more students for hobby support, but the hobby support application will open again towards the end of this year. We will inform you about the hobby support application on social media channels, on the website and in the newsletter. Applications are made using a form on the dance institute’s website and applicants must also submit income register extracts from the guardian(s).
You can also apply for support for your dance hobby from other actors, including Hope ry, SOS-Lapsikylä, Pelastakaa Lapset ry ja Tukikummit.
